  1. I use Vaporesso cCell two ceramic coils with high VG juice. Probably from over shooting on temperature, they gunk up and go bitter subsequently four days. Then, what solvent would you lot soak them in to clean them?
  2. whatever juice that is sweet or nighttime colored will gunk coils up fairly quickly....
you lot can soak them in h2o overnight or a few days, shaking them occasionally, then let them air dry overnight or a few days...
I prefer to apply the cheapest canteen of vodka I can find instead of h2o and and so I also soak my baste tips to disinfect them.
  3. yous can also remove the wick (if it's rebuildable) and dry fire the coils... merely be careful not to over rut them and "popular" them.... pulse the fire button a few times, get the coil hot, dip the coil in water and repeat, you lot can likewise carefully apply tweezers or there are curlicue brushes to assist clean debris off, repeat until the coil is nice and clean and rewick when it cools down.
  4. Well I put mine in a pan (base upward) of distilled h2o and eddy them for 10 min.
Let air dry out and use.
  5. for the curious.. how sure are you lot, on a scale from 0-10, that ceramic coils tin can be treated the same every bit cotton wool-wicked coils without seeing their cream structure desintegrate and spilling out lots of little ceramic dust particles for you to breathe in?
  6. You have a SS316 wire encased in a ceramic heating chemical element. Water can clean the ceramic merely will not clean the curl. The wire will eventually go gunked up to which you will have to discard the coil. And go along in mind every bit the wire becomes gunked, it expands in size putting stress on the ceramic which could lead to it breaking apart and inhaling those particles. Non good! Alcohol volition clean the ceramic, only will non clean the wire. I have found simply running the roll under warm h2o for a few minutes to be but as effective as leaving it soak over night.

Exercise non dry fire, you risk damaging the ceramic to which if it starts to break apart, could lead to the possibility of inhaling those partials.

  7. IMHO @Punk In Drublic is the cat to listen to in this case. I've heard him/her talk virtually ceramic coils before.

  8. Below picture is after a dark'south soak in vodka forth with a few martini's (took advantage of the situation). I practice not believe alcohol harms the ringlet in any fashion, it'south simply non every bit effective and works better in a cocktail.

Hard to tell given the light, and how thin the wire is but trust me, it is gunked upward. We tin can too see the scorch marks within the ceramic from the burning of sugars. The ceramic is very brittle and crumbles into dust easily.

    @bombastinator – last I check I was a he. Only checked again and still a he! :D

Just personal opinion, simply I wouldn't risk ceramic in shut proximity to my lungs at all. And if there is any burning on the wicking material that curlicue is done for anyway, like the picture Punk In Drublic showed. If you can find fifty-fifty the slightest burned gustation, there is no coming dorsum from that and the coil volition never taste the same and every bit was stated above can degrade the ceramic from 2 perspectives. The material will weaken and start shedding material... which winds up in your lungs. It also will degrade the capillary action and will non be able to control the juice flow the manner it is intended to. So even if you clean it every bit best y'all can, information technology volition not be the same vape and is potentially harmful.

If you lot clean information technology on a regular footing before there are any signs the coil is not performing properly, simply as a routine maintenance you lot might be OK doing that. But more often than not I wouldn't clean a coil that was still working properly. You may be more regimented than my slovenly means (or OCD...lol), but if you hold off until the coil is no longer working well I would say it's a lost cause. But just personal stance from my experience.

  10. My cat called Fiona, drinks h2o only like that!!
  11. Same for me. Noone needs to offer me any ceramic coils. Not happening. Maybe that'southward excessive, but nah, I don't trust the material itself, and I don't know the people who're producing it.. so information technology's a resounding "no" from me.

  12. Cheers to Punk for the deconstructed whorl picture. I've switched to a new NET and information technology appears to be giving me more life out of a curl. I intend to requite 1 attempt at boiling but, my ultimate solution is to find an RTA I like. Cheers to all for the propose.

  13. An RTA presents its ain set of challenges such as proper wicking or finding a coil that suits your fashion of vaping. Only you have control over the outcome such equally choosing the type of wick (Rayon, Cotton Bacon, Muji etc), and way and blazon of coil (Clapton style, regular, dual, single, different metals etc.). And information technology is cheaper in the long run. @Shawn Hoefer has an fantabulous ongoing tiptop airflow RTA thread hither.

I buy interdental brushes and while rinsing the roll with water clean the wiring with the brush by just proceed moving it up and downwardly, the castor goes in white and comes out blackness, so it means it is cleaning the wire ;)
